The Full You

Privacy Policy

How information is collected, used, and protected when you visit The Full You — written plainly, because transparency matters here as much as anywhere.

Effective date: July 24, 2026

01

What Information Is Collected

When you create an account, your name and email address are collected to manage your account and authenticate your session. If you use the Reflection Journal, your journal entries, mood selections, and the prompts you respond to are stored so you can return to them. If you save resources or track articles you have read, those records are stored to support your progress. If you use the grounding companion (Sage), your conversation messages are stored to maintain the conversation. Anything you voluntarily submit through forms or interactive tools is also collected.

02

How Information Is Used

Your information is used to provide resources, personalize your experience, manage your account, send communications you request, improve the website, and support future Full You experiences such as personalized insights or Field Guide development.

03

Cookies

The website uses essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your authenticated session and basic site functionality. These keep you signed in and allow the site to work as intended. The site does not use cookies to build advertising profiles.

04

Analytics

Analytics may be used to understand aggregate usage patterns — such as which pages are visited or which resources are engaged with — in order to improve the site. This analytics is not used to build personal advertising profiles or to identify you personally for marketing.

05

Login & Account Information

Your login credentials are handled securely by the platform's authentication system. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Your account information is visible only to you and the site administrator, and is used only to provide and improve your experience.

06

How You May Request Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can delete your journal entries directly within the Reflection Journal, remove saved resources from your profile, and permanently delete your account — along with all associated data — through the Settings page. For other requests, please reach out through the Contact page.

07

How Personal Information Is Protected

Reasonable measures are used to protect personal information, and sensitive personal reflections are treated with additional care. Your journal entries and reflections remain yours, are not shared with third parties, and are not used for advertising. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, and this policy does not promise that your information will never be accessed in ways no one anticipated.

08

Third-Party Services

Trusted service providers may process information only as necessary to operate the website — including hosting, email delivery, authentication, and related infrastructure. These providers are bound by their own obligations to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes. Personal information is not sold to advertisers.

09

Email Communication

If you subscribe through Substack or request communications, you may receive emails such as newsletters or responses you have asked for. You can unsubscribe or stop these communications through the links provided or by reaching out directly.

10

Future AI Features

As The Full You grows, some features may use artificial intelligence to help organize and reflect on information you choose to share. Any AI features are educational tools, not professional advice. Information you share within AI features is used to provide that experience and is not used to train external AI systems.

11

Data Retention

Your information is kept for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services you requested. When you delete your account, your associated data is removed as well. Some information may be retained where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the platform and its users.

12

Contact

Your reflections are yours. This policy exists to make sure you know how they are treated — with care, honesty, and respect.
